Garfield Kart 2 : All you can drift

2024-2025 / Eden Games

Garfield Kart 2 is a karting game where you embody character from the Garfield franchise across multiple funny map.

I worked as the Associate Lead Gameplay Programmer supervising the release in Epic, Steam, Switch, Xbox Series, and PS5. I also worked on the implementation of the animation system, the cross platform online game mode and the input system.

Smurf Kart

2022 / Eden Games

Smurf Kart is a karting game where you have to smurf the first place on 12 maps of the Smurf Universe.

I work on the implementation of gameplay elements, game modes and UI elements. I also work with the Switch for inputs and implementation of an online leaderboard.

Carezheimer

2023 / Université de Genève

Carezheimer is a serious game used to help caregivers of people with Alzheimer's.

Carezheimer is a serious game where I help to implement gameplay elements, camera and to debug legacy codes.

PKM TCG Classic

2024-2026 / Personal Project

Pokémon Trading Card Game that allow to collection all classic Pokémon cards.

This is a mobile gacha game made with anither prog and 2 UI. It use with cas database and a save system.

MonkeyTone

2024 / Game Jam

MonkeyTone is a educational game made for the Scientific Game Jam 2024 and currently exposed at the Musée des Confluences.

This game is an educational game based on the work of a Phd student, working with 4 other artists, designer and developpers.

Fractal

2023 / Personal Project

This project is a visualization of some fractals using C++ and SFML.

Fractal visualization is the visualizatio of Julia, Newton and Mandelbrot fractal in C++ using OpenCL. It allow to practice my C++ and learn more about compute shader.

Generative Voxel World

2023 / Personal Project

This project is a small procedural voxel world generator in THREE.js.

This is a personnel project made in javascript in order to learn THREE.js and learn more about procedurally generated voxel worlds. It generates blended biomes based on perling and voronoi noise.

Nodevember VFX

2021 / Personal Project

I completed the Nodevember Challenge of 2021 learning Shader Graph in Unity.

In order to learn more about real-time VFX and shaders, I challenge me to do the Nodevember 2021. I enjoy it and learn a lot about vertex and fragment shaders, post processing and particles.

AerRacers

2020 - 2021 / Bachelor Project

AerRacers is a local multi-player pod racing game running on Nintendo Switch.

This project was created in 8 months as part of my Bachelor with a team of 4 in C++ using the NekoEngine.

Cartoon Water Shader

2023 / Personal Project

This project is a GLSL cartoon water shader.

This is a personnal project made using THREE.js to display a cartoon water shader made for my Voxel World. It inspire by multiple cartoon shader including depth, uv displacement and foam.

Sorting Visualization

2021 / Personal Project

This project is a visualization of some sorting algorithms using C++ and SFML.

Sorting Visualization is the visualization of 13 sorting algorithms. It allow to practice my C++ and learn more about modern C++, templates and sortings algorithms.

Flock Visualization

2021 / Personal Project

This project is a visualization of some flocking behavior using C++ and SFML.

Flock Visualization is the visualization of multiples steering behavior such as cohesion, fleeing, seperation,... It allow me to pratice my C++ and learn more about inferitance, compisite, decorator and other design pattern.

SpringMan

2020 / Game Jam

SpringMan is a platformer where you control the bounce of a spring inside an underground level.

This project was created in 48 hours during the Miz Jam 1. The goal was to create a game using specific art assets. The game is available on mobile.

Mémoire on IMU

2022 / Bachelor Project

Bachelor project trying to track a smartphone's position with its IMU.

I research on the process of position estimation of a smartphone during fast movement.

About Me

Hi! I am Floreau Luca, I am a 23 years old French video game developer.
I graduated from a Bachelor of Games Programming at the SAE Institute in Geneva in 2021. I’m currently working at Eden Games as a Gameplay Programmer.
I’m passionate by programmation since 2014 and I enjoy the possibilities that video games offers.
I’m always curious to learn new knowledge and skills mainly on Unity and in C++.
